WOMAN THOU ARE MIGHTY
Hey, 6 A.M. family, how is it going?
I trust the issue in your world is not putting you in any other mood but happy. You have got to find the light in all that and stay with it.
If you are also part of the community of people who say they cannot find a light, then create your light; remember that the Bible says you are the light of the world.
Today I am writing about one of my favorite topics of all time. No darling male readers; I am not being biased but joining the whole world to celebrate the WOMAN; I like to put a disclaimer out there; this is not another mother's best friend situation but one, my dear male readers, you would want to read.
I also like to disclaim that the woman in the piece is not just centered on a married female but also on the unmarried, after all the definition in Merriam-Webster's dictionary has given me the license to declare that by defining a woman to be "An adult female person."
Over the years, there have been several trends on the topic "of why women are celebrated a lot of times in the year, more than men; I am female, yet, I have also wondered why the WOMAN is celebrated more than men.
I decided to do an informal study of this being called woman, below I would mention some beautiful observations from the women I have had the opportunity of sitting down with, discussing with or listening to while they spoke or generally observed as they go about their activities of the day, week, or year.
The book of Proverbs 31: 10 - 31 does all the explaining of how mighty a woman is. It has been said that that portion of "the Bible is centered on the virtuous woman." I beg to disagree or share another point to look at it from. Every breathing woman out there was born with those qualities or abilities, as the case may be. Some have had the opportunity for these gifts to be tapped. At the same time, others have not just been in the position where these attributes have been activated or where they have seen the need to respond to the leading or the nudge from their heart.
Based on the scripture, the woman has the following things you need to either be reminded of or come to the knowledge of, so pay attention. The woman is more precious than Jewel, and her value is far above rubies or pearls. I also remember there was a trend that men usually asked what women bring to the table; one woman responded, "She is the table," So funny but true. After reading proverbs chapter thirty-one, I could not help but agree this is why.
Having said that, why do I call the woman mighty? I decided to abbreviate the word mighty based on the characteristics from the scripture as well. It is also important to note that the woman is far beyond this. I will like to say WOMAN THOU ARE MIGHTY.
She is Motherly. She comforts, encourages, and does her husband and family great good as she has life in her. She is a natural caregiver. She will be by your bedside, nursing you to health even when she needs to also be cared for. She takes delight in sacrificing for others, and her mind tells her that her reward is seeing others happy.
She is Intelligent, always looking for an investment, and considering new fields before she buys or accepts it, as suggested by her husband or family. She is prudent with her finances, saving and investing in others. She does not take sides in times of trouble between her family members. She stands as a mediator, finding a lasting solution to the issues. She does her best to keep the peace, even though sometimes she adds to the unrest. However! she is wise and finds peace or works toward it.
She is Graceful. She is unruffled. She can deal with trials and tribulations without breaking a step. She is comfortable in her own skin. She is confident in her ability, and because of wading in the water for years, she! can not be brought down. She is a designer, constantly trying to shape, decorate and fix not just the material things but also the people around her. She could be very annoying, always in your all business, asking how, why, when, and what.
She is a Hero. She always tarries, praying for the safety and prosperity of her own. She cares not only for their spiritual food but for the physical, which is why she likes Sisiyemi and Zeelicious food and others. She is constantly visiting YouTube, searching for something new to cook or a new way to make what she already knows how to make at home. She is a giver, always opening her hands to the poor and everyone in need around her. She does not only give material things. She also gives listening ears and motivates a down spirit.
She is Trustworthy. She is not loosed tongue. She is not in the habit of sharing her family problems outside. She could be regarded as the best secret keeper, always guarding and defending no matter the attitude of the man of her home or her family member.
She is not just Young at heart; she is a queen. She can switch characters at any time. When with her kids, she behaves like their age mate, understanding the gibberish they say. She plays without holding back. With her husband, when it is required, she is his main guy brainstorming with him and strategically planning with him. As for those who love football, she is always available to shout at the referee with him. As for those who do not love football, she is always there to comfort them when their team loses or celebrate when they win. She is his queen or their queen; this depends on the context you are looking at it from.
Indeed, women THOU ARE MIGHTY. You are beautiful. You are worth celebrating today and always.
